![]() ![]() I know many more Mini-Servers will spawn as Beta 1 continues to circulate. With this being said, this will not kill this list. As stated by Logano: "the rest of the development team and I are currently discussing the possibility of an official mini-server that will be available to serve a limited number of people at one time in a future release." Due to this, and the fact that you cannot really administrate/moderate these servers, even if they're your own (there's no ban or kick functionality), this would make ultimate sense as to the fact of the removal of the Mini-Server feature.īut there's a lighter side to this. Due to this, we feel that they have caused more trouble than they are worth, and are an overall detriment to the community." Now why would he say such a thing? Well, you should note that some servers have been attacked by hackers. As to why it was removed, the original leader of the project, Logano, has stated: "Mini-Servers cannot be regulated. ![]() So what's the big news, you may ask? Well, as of Beta 2, the Toontown Offline staff will be removing Mini-Server compatibility. There wasn't a lot to add, so I decided to add an updates tab. I actually got around to updating this after 2-3 months. UPDATE (): I've decided against the forums idea. UPDATE: I forgot to add the required Panda3D to this post. I wonder if it will actually get people on. I'm considering on having a new forum for Toontown Offline that's linked to this site. It will however be much slower since they also shutdown their website. That release is also called "Cog Gear." The original Toontown Offline also had a canceled release called "Cog Gear" that killed the project for the first time. ![]() I would've reuploaded it anyways due to the removal of Mini-Servers in their next release. The staff have taken down the website as well as the downloads. Don't freak out just yet. ![]()
